Colin Kaepernick Nevada Wolfpack Pro Cut/Game Issued Jersey (2006/2007).
This jersey was purchased from a University of Nevada collector in Reno, Nevada but actual information on the jersey is limited.. here’s what I know about the jersey:
This was likely one of the first college jersey’s that Colin wore during his time at the University of Nevada. It is a size “42 with an additional “6 inches of added length which is a similar size to what Colin wore in the NFL. The logos on the front are of “adidas” and “WAC”. The inside collar has “06-42” which represents 2006 and the size.
Colin’s first year on the Wolfpack was 2007 so this jersey represents either a redshirt jersey or an extra inventory type of situation where Colin wore while at the School in 2007, despite the 2006 tag.
Upon research there wasn’t anyone on the roster in 2006 that wore #10, so I’m confident that this is the real deal.
On the back side of the jersey there appears to be dirt/sweat marks to where the jersey would’ve been tucked into pants/pads. There are other faint spots of usage throughout the jersey offering signs that it was worn on multiple occasions.
