The Auburn football equipment staff used to sell helmets at the end of spring training. I guess instead of recertifying them, they just used the money to buy new ones. This is one of the ones I purchased from them probably late 1990s or early 2000s. It was the Tubberville era. This helmet has been in my collection for about 20 years.
